First day back at K8N!! Adrian weighted more at 9 kg after spending two weeks of mini-vacation at home. However, he was quite cranky today mainly because of the internal temperature there. The AC doesn't seem to work properly and baby has been feeling very warm throughout the day. He only had an hour nap as he woke up in the middle of his nap with his head all wet. 1st day of his 4th cycle chemo ran smoothly until this evening. The meds started to work its way and Adrian threw up twice at night feed. I do hope he can get a good night sleep tonight and well rested!

I recently joined Facebook and looked up Neuroblastoma Survivors (group) and joined it. I asked their survivors to kindly visit your blog and tell you their success stories. Below is one of their comments. Hope this helps.
STAY STRONG!

my daughter Joelle was diagnosed at age 2 with stage 4 ...4 rounds of chemo...nothing happened...4 more rounds...still nothing...finally 6 hour surgery removed the whole tumour and is now almost 4 years cancer free...

Hi, just wanted to add in my support. I was diagnosed with Stage 3B neuroblastoma at 10 1/2 months old, and am now a 29 year survivor. Best wishes!

The reason why I'm sending this and asking them to show their support (thanks, Leanne), is that I hope you will not give up hope even (touch wood) when things don't seem positive. Just read Joelle's story, even though chemo didn't work out at first, she is almost 4 years cancer free now. I'm hoping to see Adrian's survival story very very soon!

This is another survivor's story I found on Facebook...

My facebook name is Mitchie Kwan, you probably don't know, since I always write as Kaitlyn's Mom. Facebook is good in a way because there are many support groups that you can find help in. (Like: joining groups about miscarriages helped me heal my wounds)There are 2 other groups called "Meet Alexis" (Stage 4)& "Families Against Neuroblastoma" are also worthwhile to take a look at while you're logged on.
